Dr. Mooney is a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She was trained to be a supervisor in her doctoral practicum, internship, and fellowship programs and has been supervising graduate students for over 13 years. Dr. Mooney also served as an educational mental health consultant for several years. Dr. Mooney uses reflective and developmental supervision methods when supervising trainees. Supervision and Consultation is one of Dr. Mooney’s lifelong passions and she continues to grow and learn in this role every day. Dr. Mooney supervises graduate students still in training as well as provides consultation for licensed providers, groups, professional organizations looking to grow their practice/knowledge or work towards their Registered Play Therapist Credential. Together we will develop a supervision/consultation plan and tailor your plan specifically to your individual/group needs.

SUPERVISON FOR NON-LICENSED
CLINICIANS

Supervision for non-licensed clinicians toward their licensure and/or their Registered Play Therapist Credential is available at Storybook Wellness. Individual and group supervision is available for non-contractors as well as individuals who are independently contracted to provide services at Storybook Wellness Center. Fees will be negotiated if the non-licensed trainee decides to contract to provide services as Storybook Wellness Center. CONSULTATION FOR LICENSED
CLINICIANS

Consultation for licensed clinicians towards their Registered Play Therapist Credential or for building competencies is available at Storybook Wellness. Individual and group consultation is available for non-contractors as well as individuals who are independently contracted to provide services at Storybook Wellness Center. Fees will be negotiated if the licensed consultee decides to contract to provide services as Storybook Wellness Center. NO SURPRISES ACT for
Storybook wellness center

Storybook Wellness acts in compliance with the No Surprises act which includes regulations which requires providers and facilities to:
 

Provide a good faith  estimate [of expected charges] to uninsured (or self-pay) individuals within the following timeframes:

(A) When a primary item or service is scheduled at least 3 business days before the date the item or service is scheduled to be furnished: Not later than 1 business day after the date of scheduling;

(B) When a primary item or service is scheduled at least 10 business days before such item or service is scheduled to be furnished: Not later than 3 business days after the date of scheduling; or

(C) When a good faith estimate is requested by an uninsured (or self-pay) individual: Not later than 3 business days after the date of the request.
